Affiliate disclosure: how we make money from this site

Being upfront about this is the least we owe you, so we put it somewhere visible — and at the top of every page.

01We have an affiliate (referral) relationship

Aboard takes part in OKX's referral partner program. The "Sign up on OKX" buttons and links across this site are all referral links; when you register through one and enter our invite code OK2707 at sign-up, the platform records that referral relationship.

02It costs you nothing extra — it actually saves you money

When you become an OKX user through these links and start trading, we may receive a referral fee from the platform. That fee is paid by the platform and adds nothing to your cost.

If anything, the opposite is true: once invite code OK2707 is bound, a share of your trading fees (currently up to 20%, subject to OKX's current program) is returned to you. In other words, this relationship saves you money while it keeps the lights on for us — neither side loses out.

03The referral relationship doesn't change what we say

Having a referral relationship doesn't mean we'll gloss things over for the platform. We still write about its shortcomings, still flag the risks, and still publish an honest comparison with Binance. If we ever decide it's no longer a good fit for beginners, we'll say so. Objectivity comes before referral income.

04What we don't do

• We don't impersonate OKX official or use its logo/colors to pose as it.
• We don't promise any returns or push you to invest beyond your means.
• We don't slip in promotions without your knowledge — every referral link is clearly labeled.
